We encourage you to embrace the ritual of the tea ceremony and the philosophy of zanshin to find a calmer, more present state of mind. 

Take a moment to breathe and find zanshin. Be present in the moment, connecting fully with your surroundings. Listen to the sounds of the kettle bubbling, the tap of the tea scoop on the bowl. See the vibrant colour of your matcha, and the beauty in the artistry of your whisk and bowl. When using the whisk, feel its weight in your hand. Breathe in the smells. As you take the tea into your mouth, let it wash over your tongue and appreciate the layers of its flavours.

Connect each moment to the next - the mind should always be in flow. 

By turning this preparation into a ritual, zanshin will transcend into your daily life.

  1. Sift 1 teaspoon into your tea bowl
  2. Add 70-80ml of hot (not boiling) water
  3. Whisk quickly, yet softly until frothy bubbles form
  4. Drink as is or with cold sparkling mineral water

Store pouch in a cool, dry place. Once opened, remove excess air, re-seal and refrigerate.
